* Seeking candidates with 10+ years expertise in leading Disaster Recovery programs coupled with a Bachelor’s Degree.
Position summary:
The Disaster Recovery Strategist will design and develop an implementation plan for the DR strategic direction utilizing industry’s best practices that meet the organization needs, direct IT disaster response/crisis management activities, provide and coordinate disaster preparedness training with respect to the organization’s information technologies, helping ensure business continuity.
Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:
- BS – Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Protection (Information Security) or a related IT field required.
- 10+ year of experience in IT operations implementing and supporting web and middleware solutions in a data center environment required.
- 10+ years of experience in disaster recovery operations and management in the Healthcare, financial or similar industry required.
- 5 years of experience in managing large projects, using PMI standard methods and tools required.
- Certification in CBCP or CFCP, PMP certification, TOGAF Certification, and/or ITIL V3 certification preferred.
