Firestorm will visit the designated site(s) and evaluate vulnerabilities associated with physical security and emergency preparedness. The Firestorm Site Assessment is completely comprehensive and accomplishes a 360- degree examination of the site, its practical functions, and its surroundings. Firestorm identifies both best practices used by the site and any deficiencies related to safety and emergency preparedness identified during the site assessment.
About the Firestorm Security Solutions Site Assessment
Firestorm will test pertinent emergency equipment such as facility and exterior grounds access control features, as well as cameras and video surveillance systems. In addition, Firestorm will conduct on-site interviews with all key personnel such as owners, administrators, and applicable facility and maintenance staff. Following the Site Assessment, Firestorm will provide an Executive Summary detailing any deficiencies noted and offer cost effective strategies to mitigate those deficiencies.
The Site Assessment takes approximately six hours per location to complete. During two of those hours, an individual with extensive knowledge of the facility, such as the principal/owner/director, needs to be available to provide a tour and answer any policy and procedure questions.
Firestorm will thoroughly examine the facility to include:
- The surrounding area for hazards that could create a security concern
- Internal and external design features
- Present technical and physical security measures
- Relevant safety and security policy and procedures currently in place
