California Franchisee Brings Global Perspective to Preparedness

ROSWELL, GA — Gertie Knox, a leading authority on global supply chain compliance, has joined Firestorm® as its first California-based Franchise Principal.

Knox has substantial experience in developing compliance frameworks on behalf of multinational companies and helping to integrate measurable supply chain-related compliance protocols across divergent operating models. The design of control-based assessments for use in independently monitoring compliance across various industry sectors, sizes and organizational cultures provides her with extensive insight into how companies can avoid the common failures that are typically exposed during a crisis, disruption or disaster.

“Programs supported by processes and controls facilitate the most effective management of risk against elements that can threaten an organization’s resiliency and overall value to stakeholders,” said Knox, who previously served as COO and co-founder of a supply chain compliance advisory and monitoring firm, and as global risk management solutions partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers accounting firm.

“I look forward to making a significant contribution to Firestorm’s mission to promote meaningful change in the way that businesses view continuity,” Knox added. “The holistic approach advanced by Firestorm’s PREDICT. PLAN. PERFORM.™ process is key to ensuring that our nation’s private sector is best positioned to protect its people, assets, revenues, reputation and value.”
