Weapons, Tactics and Crisis Management
Thomas F. Parks III is a retired U.S. Marine Corps Infantry Weapons Officer. Specialty is training in leadership, generation Y, weapons, tactics and crisis management.
Mr. Parks is the founder and CEO of DI Dynamics LLC, a training, consulting and motivational speaking company based on management secrets of the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Parks’ Marine Corps career consisted of 5 combat tours, several humanitarian aid and non-combatant evacuations with extensive experience in crisis management situations during combat and in peacetime. As an enlisted Marine he led a squad of Marines to victory during the Annual Rifle Squad Competition, was named the U.S. Marine Corps’ Drill Instructor of The Year and as an officer was awarded the Silver Star Medal for conspicuous gallantry and bravery in combat. He is featured in 2 books, Heroes Among Us and The Silver Star and is currently writing a business management book based upon his company’s mission vision and values. Besides training and consulting, since retirement in 2005, Mr. Parks has worked in executive level management, training and consulting within the insurance and automotive recycling industries.
Mr. Parks has developed curriculum and oversaw an instructor staff that trained thousands of Marines, Sailors, Soldiers and Airmen in Sustainment and Stability Operations (SASO) prior to deployment for combat operations to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Mr. Parks’ military personal decorations include the Silver Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal x3, Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal with combat V x3, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal x5 and the Combat Action Ribbon x5.
CWO (Marine Gunner) Tom Parks, USMC (Ret), currently resides in Warwick NY with his active duty wife Marine Chief Warrant Officer Christine Glynn. They have 4 children Christina (19), Suzanne (18), Kyle (16) and Morgan (15).
