Attendees will engage in trying to mitigate these activities and impacts while responding to the escalating crisis and security elements in real time. \nHow do you know you have fallen victim to a hack? What do you know? What do you say? \nIn today’s reality\, everyone (regardless of job title)\, can benefit from improving cyber preparedness and response related to cyber risks and security threats; including crisis management\, business continuity\, disaster recovery\, security and IT professionals. This event is intended to address the needs of each group\, simultaneously. \nAdvance registered participants will receive exercise information directly prior to the DRJ conference for their review and preparation\, as well as a post-exercise brief for their use after the DRJ conference. \nThis unique opportunity to spend time with a hacker in a 2.5-hour live simulation is intended to allow attendees to experience a series of cyber security incidents leading up to and including a data breach and physical security exposures\, while interacting directly with the hacker to discuss risk management techniques and brand exposures. \nParticipants will leave with tangible action items that can be implemented into a crisis\, continuity and disaster recovery plan. \n\nActive Shooter – What do you need to do Before\, During and After an Active Shooter Event? Tuesday 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.\n \nJason Russell | Firestorm Chief Security Officer and CEO/Founder of SEC \n\nBreakout Track 5 – Session 2 \nFirestorm Chief Security Officer\, Jason Russell\, will also present a session at the 2018 DRJ Spring World. \nThe 2017 mass shooting event in Las Vegas combined with growing workplace violence and terrorism threats increases exposures for everyone whether at work\, home or at an event. How do you reduce risk? How do you train your people? Attendees will learn new techniques from retired Secret Service Agents. Attendees will learn how to identify behaviors of concern\, determine threat levels\, understand evacuate\, secure\, and confront techniques\, and identify how to manage post event issues. \nLearn more about the 2018 DRJ Spring World or register for the event.
