OSHA reports that more than 2 million Americans are victimized by workplace violence a year; but many more cases go unreported. In 2014, nearly 9% of workplace deaths were caused by violent acts.

No employer is immune from workplace violence, and the total cost to organizations is staggering. It is impossible to overstate the costs of workplace violence. A single incident can have sweeping repercussions. There can be the immediate and profound loss of life or physical/psychological repercussions felt by the victim and the victim’s family, friends and co-workers; the loss of productivity and morale that sweeps through an organization after a violent incident; and the PR impact on an employer when news of violence reaches the media.

Join Firestorm Principal Cyril Rayan (Co-Founder, President, CEO of Resiligence) & Michael C. Redmond, EGLACP President, Redmond Worldwide, as we explore new approaches to identify behaviors of concern, including creating a central data repository & anonymous reporting tools & approaches.
