Wendy has a broad range of experience in developing and implementing business continuity, crisis management, emergency response, communicable illness, workplace violence and crisis communications plans for Fortune 100 clients, and small businesses and governmental entities. She works closely with clients to analyze business requirements, and develop procedures to facilitate operational resilience, crisis response and organizational recovery.
Wendy’s expertise has been applied throughout numerous industries including banking, retail, manufacturing, healthcare advisory and financial services, media, legal, energy, mining, and education. Wendy has achieved high client satisfaction through quality and timely delivery of all business projects.
Wendy’s expertise in wide-scale customized planning projects positioned her to work with Firestorm in the creation of business continuity, workplace violence and communicable illness Toolkits that are aligned with industry standards and best practices for crisis management and emergency response. This ‘Do It Yourself’ approach to planning was designed for those clients that have the internal planning resources in place to implement the process.

Bill Baker, VP, Operations
Bill Baker, VP-Operations, Firestorm, has been with the company since 2006. His background includes over 20 years senior level experience in IT management, Program Development, and system maintenance. Work assignments have taken him to Canada, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand. He has also developed systems for corporate investment management, portfolio reporting, and computerized credit management techniques.
Bill’s educational background includes a B.S. degree from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Stanford. He has worked for companies in Manufacturing, Real Estate Consulting, Property Development, Retailing, Investments, and General Consulting. At Firestorm, he has been involved in project fulfillment, franchisee support, training, and office operations. He enjoys the vibrant, creative atmosphere that exists at Firestorm.
Kerry Coxworth, Assistant Vice President Operations/Administration
Kerry joined Firestorm in 2006, and has an extensive leadership background in the management of projects, decision making and literary administration. Her background includes management experience in the software, meeting management, education and financial services industries.
Kerry has been certified as an English Teacher and as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP). She graduated from N.C. State as a double honors student with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature with a Teaching Certificate.
