Mr. Daemer is founder of the technology consultancy InfusionPoints, and led multiple security consulting teams at Booz/Allen/ Hamilton and American Management Systems. He also worked in the industry as a Program Manager, Security Architect, and Enterprise Security Integration Engineer with companies including AT&T and Lowe’s, where he honed his enterprise security and privacy, identity and access management, and data protection skills. He has led enterprise security architecture assessments and development for state and federal agencies, aerospace, manufacturing, retail, banking and insurance industries.

Dr. Nichols is co-founder and CTO of PlexLogic LLC, which offers a metrics on-demand service called MetricsCenter. Over a career that includes positions at university, civilian government, private enterprise, and several startups, she has applied mathematics and computer technologies to create systems for war gaming, spacecraft mission planning, industrial process control, network and systems management, and most recently, security metrics. She has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Duke University.

Ms. Turgeon is an internationally recognized data management and data protection expert, who currently serves as the Chief of Market Strategy & Security for Crossroads Systems, Inc. In that role, she leads Crossroads’ strategic storage and security efforts. With more than 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry, including overseeing the successful creation and global deployment of three strategic departments within Oracle, Ms. Turgeon is the sole female recipient of the Shaping Information Security People award.

The Firestorm Expert Council is comprised of dozens of highly respected leaders in security/safety, information/technology security, health/medicine, manufacturing/mining, crisis communications/response, risk management, law, finance and corporate governance/compliance.
