clients. The members of the Expert Council lend credibility and skills to the work which Firestorm performs, both through their direct involvement and the weight of their reputations.

In this light, Firestorm is thrilled with the addition of Mr. Robert Benny.

Robert Benny is a recognized leader in the supply chain management field with a proven track record integrating IT systems with business processes and analyzing supply chain risks. He is currently the Associate Director of the Supply Chain Management Center at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. His primary focus is developing industry based practicums for students, development of the McCombs Projects Labs where students will develop their skills in project management, analytical analysis and visualization and risk assessments.

His previous assignment was Director of Supply Chain Processes at AMD. He lead their Supply Chain Transformation program focusing on optimizing supply chain cost and minimizing risk in the supply chain. Factory performance analysis, location analysis and logistics were all part of this program.

Prior to that, he served as Director of Systems and Business Process Integration at Freescale / Motorola’s Semiconductor Group. There, he drove cost effective implementations of ERP, Advanced Planning, Logistics and Customer Relationship systems across the company.

Mr. Benny started his career at IBM where his last assignment was Director of Technology planning and forecasting. He directed the reengineering of the semiconductor planning process and implemented formal S&OP and Master Scheduling processes.

Mr. Benny has a BS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, is a Project Management Master and has a Six Sigma Green Belt. He has been a speaker at the University of Texas, Texas A&M University, SAP’s Sapphire Conference and Supply Chain World.
