Pam Mancuso, Business Continuity Manager
Pam Mancuso is an Engineer by training, and a graduate of Columbia University. She is a a highly experienced Information Technology and Services Professional, with a passion for family and community resilience. Pam provides exceptional support in the coordination of events and social communications for Firestorm. Her on-the-ground, first-hand experiences during Superstorm Sandy provided Firestorm with critical and informative information during the crisis and through its aftermath. Pam is also the co-founder of Jersey Shore Tri Gals. Pam co-founded the Jersey Shore Tri Gals with 3 friends in 2004. Today, the group is over 100 women strong, and provides an emotionally and physically safe environment for women of all ages to train and compete in swimming, biking, and running events, while raising money for worthwhile charities. The JSTG encourages women to achieve triathlon goals.
Chris Scott, Director Client Relations
As Firestorm Director of Client Relations, Chris Scott expedites Firestorm resources to address client needs. In addition, she works directly with clients to identify strategic opportunities to address their unique requirements. She also facilitates joint marketing strategies with Firestorm strategic partners. Chris provides direct support to our clients, and represents client concerns to Firestorm and in turn, Firestorm capabilities to clients.
Chris is an Atlanta native who graduated from The University of Alabama in 1984 with a BA in Psychology & Business. She worked for Bear Stearns and Robinson Humphrey and spent the next 15 years as a stockbroker. She also was responsible for opening the first brokerage department at Fidelity National Bank. She moved to Destin, Florida to be closer to family in 2005 and has been an outstanding contributor to Firestorm since 2009.
Candace is a 2014 graduate of Ohio Northern University. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a minor in social media. She was the first from ONU to graduate with the minor.
During her years at ONU, Candace had the opportunity to research the use of social media in crisis situations. She presented papers at the regional and international levels. Candace co-authored a paper entitled “Social Media as a Practical Approach in Engaging Key Stakeholders in School Crisis Communication Plans,” that was featured in the Journal of School Public Relations winter of 2014. She enjoys the beach, physical fitness and music. Her life quote is “Never a failure, always a lesson.”
Marchet Butler, Editorial Content, Design
Marchet (Mar-shay) Butler is a writer and graphic designer for Firestorm. Before joining Firestorm, Marchet worked as a teacher in the public school system where she taught business, computers, and English. In addition, she served as department head and yearbook advisor. Marchet was also awarded the title of Microsoft® Master Instructor. After her work as a teacher, Marchet started a small portrait photography business which she continues to run in her spare time. The mother of a child with special health needs, Marchet served on an advisory council for her son’s hospital and as a mentor for other parents. Marchet is passionate about learning and is excited to work with Firestorm, expanding her knowledge into the fields of crisis management and business continuity.
