Firestorm Support Team
Pam Mancuso is an Engineer by training, and a graduate of Columbia University. She is a highly experienced Information Technology and Services Professional, with a passion for family and community resilience. Pam provides support and development of the internal CRM database, as well as coordination of events and social communications for Firestorm. Her on-the-ground, first-hand experiences during Superstorm Sandy provided Firestorm with critical and informative information during the crisis and through its aftermath.
Pam is also the co-founder of Jersey Shore Tri Gals. Pam co-founded the Jersey Shore Tri Gals with 3 friends in 2004. Today, the group is over 100 women strong, and provides an emotionally and physically safe environment for women of all ages to train and compete in swimming, biking, and running events, while raising money for worthwhile charities. The JSTG encourages women to achieve triathlon goals.
Candace Kaiser serves as the Firestorm Content Marketing Manager and Disaster Due Diligence Assistant Editor. In these roles, Candace’s responsibilities include internal and external communications, writing, and research. She plays a vital role in the creation and management of the Firestorm editorial calendar, including the extensive webinar series, blogs, weekly newsletter (Disaster Due Diligence), and marketing materials. While she is not managing content and writing, Candace works hand-in-hand with the Firestorm in-house graphic designer. She assists in the intellectual development of Firestorm graphics. She also on boards and trains select Firestorm team members.
Candace is a graduate of Ohio Northern University where she obtained a degree in public relations and a minor in social media.
Raven brings the artistic and graphic eye to Firestorm. She assists in the creation of both physical and virtual marketing and branding materials, including fact sheets, proposal designs, logos, invitations and infographics to name a few. As a 2016 Graphic Communications graduate of Clemson University, Raven’s experience includes graphic design, marketing, and photography.
While at Clemson, she had the opportunity to hold various internships enhancing her skills at companies like Marley Lilly, Carolina Screen Printers, Motivated Marketing and Treasured Memories. Raven also has experience as a freelance artist.
Shannon Billits acts as the BERTHA® Engagement Specialist for the Firestorm Behavioral Risk Threat Assessment (BERTHA®) Program; a program designed to empower organizations to identify, assess, manage, and monitor individuals who may exhibit behaviors of concern, long before they pose a threat of violence. As a key member of the BERTHA® Team, Shannon works directly with clients and provides assistance with program sign-up, onboarding, and training.
Prior to joining Firestorm, Shannon was an elementary school teacher in Atlanta, Georgia. As a teacher, she worked with a diverse group of students, many with behavioral issues. Shannon implemented various behavioral management tools in order to troubleshoot the specific behaviors of each student and provide the appropriate level of support. Through Shannon’s hands-on teaching experience, she can directly relate to benefits of the BERTHA® Program in both the school or workplace settings.
Shannon is a graduate of the University of Dayton.
As a business entrepreneur graduate of the University of North Carolina, Myckalle brings sales experience and a marketing background to the Firestorm team. Her current role as a Business Development Specialist allows her to continue her passion for sales by introducing schools and businesses to our BERTHA® program. Myckalle also supports the Firestorm marketing team with research and content development.
Prior to joining Firestorm, Myckalle devoted her time to sales in the ever-changing fitness industry. During that time, she consistently met and exceeded quotas and goals, garnering promotions and advancements. She held roles in business development where she trained teams and managed and created fitness programs. Simultaneously, she created marketing material for several local businesses.
