Pam Mancuso, Business Continuity Manager
Pam Mancuso is an Engineer by training, and a graduate of Columbia University. She is a a highly experienced Information Technology and Services Professional, with a passion for family and community resilience. Pam provides exceptional support in the coordination of events and social communications for Firestorm. Her on-the-ground, first-hand experiences during Superstorm Sandy provided Firestorm with critical and informative information during the crisis and through its aftermath. Pam is also the co-founder of Jersey Shore Tri Gals. Pam co-founded the Jersey Shore Tri Gals with 3 friends in 2004. Today, the group is over 100 women strong, and provides an emotionally and physically safe environment for women of all ages to train and compete in swimming, biking, and running events, while raising money for worthwhile charities. The JSTG encourages women to achieve triathlon goals.
Candace joined the Firestorm team in Charleston, South Carolina upon graduating from Ohio Northern University in 2014. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a minor in social media. She was the first from ONU to graduate with the minor.
During her years at ONU, Candace had the opportunity to research the use of social media in crisis situations, among other topics. She presented papers at the regional and international levels. Candace co-authored a paper entitled “Social Media as a Practical Approach in Engaging Key Stakeholders in School Crisis Communication Plans,” that was featured in the Journal of School Public Relations winter of 2014. She enjoys the beach, exercise, Ohio State football and indulging in the various cuisine Charleston has to offer. Her life quote is “Never a failure, always a lesson.”
Raven brings the artistic and graphic eye to the Firestorm Support Team. As a 2016 Graphic Communications graduate of Clemson University in upstate South Carolina, Raven’s experience includes graphic design, marketing and photography.
While at Clemson, she had the opportunity to hold various internships enhancing her skills at companies like Marley Lilly, Carolina Screen Printers, Motivated Marketing and Treasured Memories. Raven also has experience as a freelance artist.
When Raven is not creating compelling graphics, you can find her cooking, traveling and staying active outdoors.
Susan Plant, Predictive Intelligence Analyst
Susan Plant joined the Firestorm team in 2017 as a Predictive Intelligence Analyst. She brings experience as a business owner, financial assistant, leading sales representative in additional to managerial and administrative knowledge. A Southern Connecticut University graduate, Susan earned a degree in Communications with an Emphasis in Organizational Management.
Outside of the office, she can be found staying active while running, swimming, biking and flying.
