Pam Mancuso, Director of Technology Services

Pam Mancuso is an Engineer by training, and a graduate of Columbia University. She is a highly experienced Information Technology and Services Professional, with a passion for family and community resilience. Pam provides support and development of the internal CRM database, as well as coordination of events and social communications for Firestorm. Her on-the-ground, first-hand experiences during Superstorm Sandy provided Firestorm with critical and informative information during the crisis and through its aftermath.

Pam is also the co-founder of Jersey Shore Tri Gals. Pam co-founded the Jersey Shore Tri Gals with 3 friends in 2004. Today, the group is over 100 women strong, and provides an emotionally and physically safe environment for women of all ages to train and compete in swimming, biking, and running events, while raising money for worthwhile charities. The JSTG encourages women to achieve triathlon goals.


Candace Kaiser, Director of Marketing

Candace Kaiser serves as the Firestorm Director of Marketing and Disaster Due Diligence Editor. In these roles, Candace’s responsibilities include internal and external communications, writing, and research. She plays a vital role in the creation and management of the Firestorm editorial calendar, including the extensive webinar series, blogs, weekly newsletter (Disaster Due Diligence), and marketing materials. In addition to managing the Firestorm blog, Candace also contributes thought-leadership articles. Read articles by Candace.

While she is not managing content and writing, Candace works hand-in-hand with the Firestorm in-house graphic designer. She assists in the intellectual development of Firestorm graphics. She also on boards and trains select Firestorm team members.

Candace is a graduate of Ohio Northern University where she obtained a degree in public relations and a minor in social media.


Raven Hutson, Design and Graphic Communications

Raven brings the artistic and graphic eye to Firestorm. She assists in the creation of both physical and virtual marketing and branding materials, including fact sheets, proposal designs, logos, invitations and infographics to name a few. As a 2016 Graphic Communications graduate of Clemson University, Raven’s experience includes graphic design, marketing, and photography.

While at Clemson, she had the opportunity to hold various internships enhancing her skills at companies like Marley Lilly, Carolina Screen Printers, Motivated Marketing and Treasured Memories. Raven also has experience as a freelance artist.

 


Shannon Billitz BeRThA Engagement SpecialistShannon Billits, BERTHA® Engagement Specialist

Shannon Billits acts as the BERTHA® Engagement Specialist for the Firestorm Behavioral Risk Threat Assessment (BERTHA®) Program; a program designed to empower organizations to identify, assess, manage, and monitor individuals who may exhibit behaviors of concern, long before they pose a threat of violence. As a key member of the BERTHA® Team, Shannon works directly with clients and provides assistance with program sign-up, onboarding, and training.

Prior to joining Firestorm, Shannon was an elementary school teacher in Atlanta, Georgia. As a teacher, she worked with a diverse group of students, many with behavioral issues. Shannon implemented various behavioral management tools in order to troubleshoot the specific behaviors of each student and provide the appropriate level of support. Through Shannon’s hands-on teaching experience, she can directly relate to benefits of the BERTHA® Program in both the school or workplace settings.

Shannon is a graduate of the University of Dayton.


Myckalle McClain Firestorm Business Development SpecialistMyckalle McClain, Business Development Specialist

As a Business Entrepreneurship graduate of the University of North Carolina, Myckalle brings her research, strategy, and development background to Firestorm. Myckalle possesses a sincere interest in improving the security and crisis prevention capabilities of her clients.

In her role as Business Development Specialist, Myckalle listens to the needs of clients and helps them to meet their goals by recommending the appropriate Firestorm solutions. While working with hundreds of organizations across sectors such as education, child development, corporations, camps, and faith-based establishments, Myckalle shares best-practices and other tools within the Firestorm Predict.Plan.Perform.® methodology.

Prior to joining Firestorm, Myckalle devoted her life to helping others make healthier choices. She has customized hundreds of fitness programs for several health centers, corporations, assisted living facilities, and universities. She also dedicates her time to giving back to the community by assisting many non-profit organizations within North and South Carolina.
