Roswell, Ga. – Firestorm Solutions, LLC announced today the addition of KPMG and PIER Systems as sponsors for its upcoming national symposium, “Every Crisis is a Human Crisis.’’

The event will be co-hosted by the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies and National Security Health Policy Center, and focus on the socio-economic disparity in preparing for, surviving, and recovering from disasters. It will be held April 16, the year anniversary of the Virginia Tech tragedy, at the Georgetown University Conference Hotel in Washington, D.C.  

The keynote speaker will be Lt. Gen. Russel L. Honoré, U.S. Army (ret.), who has joined the Firestorm Solutions Expert Council to help build a “culture of preparedness’’ in this country. Former U.S. Surgeons General Dr. C. Everett Koop and Dr. David Satcher, both Firestorm Expert Council members, will be among the featured presenters.  

The symposium will give corporate and organizational leadership a better understanding of how to assess the cost and value of human capital, and the tools to protect it.
