Don Samanas - About Us
Don Samanas retired in 2007 from national industrial distributor W.W. Grainger, Inc. after a 22 year career in sales and management. He started Lakeland Franchise Associates – franchise consulting and brokerage – and then answered a call to work for Stanley Black & Decker in their Security Solutions division in 2008. After 2 more years in the corporate arena, and having worked with thousands of businesses, schools, and government entities,he saw the very real need for Firestorm’s services and decided to open his Firestorm franchise in June of 2010, based in the Madison-Milwaukee, WI corridor.
Don was born and raised in Indiana and holds a B.A. from Indiana University. He has gained strong insight into facilities, procurement, and supply chain management over his 30 plus year career and shares the Firestorm passion to change our business culture from one of disaster denial to that of preparedness. Don has received over 700 hours of sales and customer relationship training from industry leaders such as Xerox, Dale Carnegie, and IBM in addition to ongoing training provided by his employers, Grainger, Stanley, Lanier, and others.
