James (Jim) W. Satterfield is the CEO and co-founder of Firestorm®. Jim is a nationally recognized expert, keynote speaker and author on crisis management, threat assessment, disaster preparedness and business continuity planning. He has experience as President, CEO and COO of various public and private companies in business continuity, communications, crisis management, environmental, insurance, reinsurance, risk management and technology. Jim has extensive expertise in the identification and quantification of risk.
Jim has led in the development of national standards for risk management, environmental risk and environmental due diligence. He has spoken to hundreds of groups on risk management, crisis management, governance, disaster planning and preparedness.
Jim’s analysis and experience in working with thousands of businesses has led to the creation of the Firestorm PREDICT.PLAN.PERFORM.® methodology, the foundation of all Firestorm programs, services and initiatives. Jim emphasizes promoting and enforcing a culture of preparedness to protect an organization’s assets, brand/reputation, revenues and enterprise value.
Jim led the Firestorm team that provided the crisis and media management support at Virginia Tech in response to the shootings, as well as hundreds of other client crisis engagements.

Harry Rhulen is President of Novume. Harry joined Novume as one of the co-founders of Firestorm Solutions, LLC which Keystone acquired in January 2017.
Over the eleven years prior to joining Novume, Harry and his co-founders built Firestorm into a nationally recognized brand in preparedness and crisis management. Firestorm is well known for its contributions in handling some of this nation’s worst crises, as well as providing thought leadership in the prevention of catastrophic events.
Prior to building Firestorm, Harry was CEO of Frontier Insurance Group, Inc., a NYSE traded public company with U.S. and European operations. Mr. Rhulen has extensive due diligence experience having participated in over thirty M&A transactions. He has lead several public offerings raising more than $350 million.
Harry, while serving on the board of the American Insurance Association, testified before Congress to expand the opportunities for financial service companies. Harry has worked as a consultant in many industries using his risk, crisis, and business management skills, as well as his public company, legal, bankruptcy, and due diligence experience to help his clients.
Harry has served on the boards of several profit and not-for-profit entities. He has received humanitarian awards for many of his efforts, including the “Quality of Human Life” Award from the American Red Cross. Harry graduated Cum Laude from the College of Insurance and has both a Juris Doctor and Masters of Business Degree from Syracuse University.

Suzanne Loughlin is the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and General Counsel of Novume. She is also a founder and was the Chief Risk Officer of Firestorm Solutions, LLC, until acquired by KeyStone (now Novume) in January of 2017.
Suzanne has extensive consultative experience in the development of crisis management & communications, workplace violence, emergency response, and business continuity plans for a clients ranging from some of the world’s largest global companies to educational institutions (P-12 and higher education, public and private) and summer camps, as well as governmental entities.
Suzanne’s previous career experience includes serving as a Director and CAO of a public insurance holding company, where she was responsible for HR, IT, Corporate Communications, Facilities, Government Relations and Internal Audit. Suzanne was also a litigator with a major New City law firm and Managing Attorney of a law firm with multiple offices throughout the country.
Suzanne’s hands-on crisis management experience, combined with her training and practice in legal exposures, enables her to provide critical decision support to clients in urgent crisis events. Hart S. Brown, CORP, CBCP, CEH, CLCS, LPQ, serves as the COO and President of Insurance and Government Services for Firestorm, bringing to the executive team nearly 20 years’ experience in security, crisis management, emergency management and business continuity. As COO, Hart leads the development, acquisition and growth of key practices and people. Additionally, he manages the acquisition and integration strategy and directs the planning and budgeting process for all our Firestorm companies and acquisitions.
Known for his ability to grow organizations from inception to international recognition, Hart possesses expertise in building customer and shareholder value through assembling world-class teams. As a forward-thinking and highly knowledgeable leader in crisis management, cyber risk and insurance he has provided specialty services throughout 50 countries in both the public and private sectors. He is adept in business development, sales and creating new client relationships to support complex risks in an entrepreneurial manner.
Hart is an industry thought leader who also serves as a media contributor, conference presenter and author on issues related to crisis management, reputational risks, cyber risk, insurance and security. As a former program director for the U.S. Department of State, Brown received an Award of Appreciation from President George W. Bush. Jason Russell is Chief Security Officer and EVP of Firestorm Security Solutions. In this role, Jason is responsible for leading a team of former Secret Service agents in delivering White House-level threat assessment and protection to schools and businesses on behalf of Firestorm.
Jason is the former founder, President and CEO of Secure Education Consultants, LLC (SEC). SEC is now a part of Firestorm, a Novume Solutions (NASDAQ: NVMM) company. In his prior role, Jason was responsible for overseeing all company operations, product development, and quality assurance. Jason grew that business to serve hundreds of clients in more than 30 states, and these clients are now supported by Firestorm Security Solutions.
Jason also served with the United States Secret Service as a Special Agent. During his tenure, Jason was involved in protective and investigative assignments as well as protecting the President and Vice President along with all living former Presidents. Cheyene Marling, Hon. MBCI, Firestorm Executive Vice President of People Solutions and Program Analytics, has been an executive recruiter with specific emphasis in the Business Continuity field for more than 22 years. Her career as an executive recruiter began in Madison, Wisconsin shortly after graduating from UW-Madison.
Cheyene founded staffing and research data analytics firm, BC Management in 2000, and the practice was acquired by crisis management firm Firestorm in early 2018.
Cheyene heads the Program Analytics division within Firestorm (in addition to People Solutions) and is responsible for driving industry leading analyses assessing every aspect of Business Continuity program planning, program budget initiatives, reporting structures, number of personnel, BCM service providers, critical third-party providers, IT/ DR assessment, program maturity and organizational impact resulting from crisis events.

Karen Masullo is the Chief Marketing and Technology Officer for Firestorm.

Wendy Ruffcorn is the Chief Administrative Officer for Firestorm. Wendy assures that all professional services and action items are coordinated, standardized, and optimized across the organization. Jim Squire, Certified Franchise Executive, is Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Firestorm, overseeing franchise development and alternative channel expansion for the brand.
